Please check for any leaks in faucets, toilets, water softeners, etc. You may also contact the Water Billing Office at 618-667-9924 Ext. 2 to request a crew member perform a check for leaks on your property.

To set-up new water and sewer service, please come into City Hall to the Water Billing Office. Please provide the full name of the responsible party, full address of the property, phone number and the date service is to begin. For those who will be renting an apartment or house, a inspection of the property must be completed and a occupancy permit form providing the name of the responsible party, full address of the rental property, phone number and a $50.00 deposit. For those who are leasing or renting a business property, please provide the name of responsible party, full address of property, phone number and a $100.00 deposit.

There is a $50.00 deposit required for apartment and home rental. There is a $100.00 deposit required for business property rental or lease.

Water and sewer payments cannot be paid by phone. You can pay on-line by visiting our website @ www.troyil.us and clicking the on-line bill pay or in person at the Troy Municipal Building 116 E. Market Street, Troy, IL. A drop box is available to the left of the entrance doors of the parking lot or at the clerks window.

Please call the Water Billing Office at 618-667-9924 Ext. 2 during regular business hours to request a meter re-read or for a crew member to perform a leak check on your property.

For any water leaks within the structure, or on the property in lines running from the water meter to the property, it the is responsibility of the homeowner to make repairs.
