Commission in the City of Troy government are to review and
update the Comprehensive Plan, planning, zoning ordinances and

conduct hearings on rezoning and to make recommendations to
the City Council concerning these matters. Application forms
for rezoning of property and other information are available
at the City Clerk's office. Hearings for rezoning are scheduled
as received by the City Clerk. Rezoning applications are forwarded
to the Planning Commission for scheduling of the hearing. All
hearing notices are published in the legal section of local
newspapers, mainly the Times Tribune, and must be published
a minimum of 15 days but no more than 30 days prior to the date
of the hearing. All zoning hearings are held in the Troy
Municipal Building, 116 E. Market Street, Troy, Illinois.
Hearings are open to the public. Persons who wish to give evidence
in favor of, or against the granting of a rezoning of property

prepared to present their evidence. The Planning Commission
