CITY OF TROY ENCOURAGES PUBLIC TO VOTE FOR THE NEXT BIKE TRAIL CONNECTION
Over the past five years, the City of Troy has constructed and opened three miles of new shared use paths. Now, the City is deciding on the next trail connection – and they want your opinion!
“In 2008, the City adopted a Comprehensive Plan that tasked City staff to ‘make Troy more walkable’ and ‘connect into the Madison County Transit (MCT) trail system’ said Tom Cissell, City Engineer. “The City is excited about providing recreational opportunities to our residents and is looking for input to help us identify new trail connections!”
Voting is simple. You can click on the link below to watch a short video that covers the history of bike trail planning, identifies the existing trail network and presents eight potential connections the City is considering. You can view both the video and survey by clicking on:

The survey results will be compiled into a presentation that will be presented at future public meeting and also listed on the City’s website. For any questions, contact City Administrator Jay Keeven at 618.667.9924.
