PRESS RELEASE-IDOT-Location IL Route 162 at I-55/70 Interchange:
The Illinois Department of Transportation tonight announced that eastbound IL Route 162 is closed to traffic at the bridge that carries it over I-55/70 in Troy.  Traffic on eastbound IL Route 162 wanting to travel across the I-55/70 bridge into Troy should utilize the marked detour.  The detour will direct motorists from IL Route 162 onto the southbound entrance ramp to I-55/70.  From there, motorists will continue onto southbound I-55/70 to southbound IL Route 159 (exit 15A). The detour will proceed from IL Route 159 southbound to the entrance ramp to northbound I-55/70 and continue onto IL Route 162 (exit 18).  Complete Press Release
